A team from Essex-based chartered accountants Rickard Keen has taken part in a Charity Golf Day organised by the Essex Wildlife Trust.
Representing the firm at the event held at The Warren Golf Club, near Maldon, on Tuesday, 18 June were David Tallon, Neil Brewer, Dean McCormack and Mark Brooks.
The charity golf day consisted of an 18-hole team “Stableford” competition in the morning, and then a nine-hole “Texas scramble” in the afternoon.
It was a successful day for the Rickard Keen team as they managed to win the ‘4 corners’ competition, which is the best score for the 1st, 9th, 10th and 18th holes.
The game of golf was followed by a silent auction and raffle in aid of the charity.
David said: “The Rickard Keen team had a great day playing golf and raising money for the Essex Wildlife Trust at the same time.
“Although we didn’t manage to triumph in the main competition, we were delighted to win the ‘4 corners’ competition, even if this was through more luck than judgement!”
