Essex Accountants Share Farming Expertise
Essex-based accountancy firm Rickard Keen recently shared its expert knowledge of the farming industry with those working in rural businesses in the local area.
The firm teamed up with BTMK Solicitors LLP and Whirledge and Nott chartered surveyors to run a free seminar offering invaluable advice for individuals in the farming industry.
‘Your Family, Your Farm’ took place on Tuesday, 9 November, at The Lawn Banqueting in Rochford, and featured presentations on a number of relevant financial and legal issues.
Rickard Keen partner Keith Bell lent his experience on tax matters affecting farmers, outlining some practical steps for tax mitigation and estate planning, including Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Income Tax planning.
He said: “The seminar was very well-received by those who came along and I hope that they will make good use of the topics discussed to ensure their businesses are in the best financial shape possible.
